THANK YOU. I feel seen! Thank you for the framing of permission to be dangerous - this wording itself undoes the trick of traumatization via calling women’s anger dangerous (but really meaning hysterical/manipulative/toxic - patronizing/patriarchy). A feeling of relief reading this.

I really felt seen in this article even though my go-to trauma response has historically been fawning. Having heard people walk right up to the line of outright saying that that’s “manipulative”, my knee jerk way of surviving in this world, is one way to get me more in touch with my shaking rage, that’s for sure. So grateful for you David. Every time I read something you write I get a glimpse of what it would be like to not feel shame every moment of every day.
